We combine your school and sports schedules and suggest what to focus on tonight. That’s help, not gospel. Athdemix is not a doctor, coach, teacher, or your school’s official system, and it can only be as accurate as the calendars you connect.
So: keep your login to yourself, use Athdemix honestly, don’t break it or misuse it, and keep checking your official school and team schedules. The decisions — and the consequences — are still yours. This short version is a summary; the full terms below are what actually apply.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are the agreement between you and Athdemix. They’re the companion to our Privacy Policy: the Privacy Policy is what we promise about your data; these Terms are the rules for using the product. Please read them. By creating an account or using Athdemix, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Athdemix. Questions? Email us at eli@athdemix.com.
Athdemix (“Athdemix,” “we,” “us,” “our”) is operated by Athdemix LLC, a California limited liability company. These Terms apply to the Athdemix website, app, and related services (together, the “Service”). Our Privacy Policy is part of these Terms and is incorporated by reference.
Athdemix is a planning and prioritization aid. It reads the scheduling facts from the calendars and accounts you connect, estimates how heavy each day is, and suggests a few things to focus on each night. That’s the whole job.
To be clear about what Athdemix is not:
If you’re ever in crisis or think you might be, please contact your local emergency number or a crisis line right away. Athdemix is not an emergency service.
Athdemix builds your plan from the schedules you connect — your calendars and, in future, your email or a school assignment system. We rely on those sources being correct, and we don’t independently verify them.
That means: if a source is wrong, incomplete, out of date, or delayed — for example, if a teacher enters the wrong date for a test in your school system, or an event never makes it onto the calendar we can see — then our plan for you may be wrong too, and we’re not responsible for what follows (like a test you weren’t reminded to study for, or an event you missed).
Please treat Athdemix as a helpful second view, not the single source of truth. Keep checking your official school system and your team’s schedule, and use your own judgment.
Using Athdemix is a privilege built on trust. To keep it working for everyone, you agree not to:
If you break these rules, we may warn you, limit features, or suspend or terminate your account — and, when it’s serious, we may do so immediately and without notice.
You keep ownership of the content and schedules you bring to Athdemix. You give us a limited license to process that content only to operate the Service — exactly as described in our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, how we handle it, and how long we keep it. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Athdemix is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features in the future, we’ll make the terms clear before you’re charged for anything. Athdemix is an evolving product: we may add, change, pause, or remove features, and we may set or change limits, at any time. We aim for reliability but don’t promise the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent allowed by law. We don’t warrant that the Service will be accurate, complete, reliable, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose. As explained in Sections 3 and 4, Athdemix is a planning aid based on the sources you connect — not professional advice and not a guaranteed record of your obligations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Athdemix and its team won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost data, missed deadlines, missed events, or lost opportunities, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service — including anything caused by an error, omission, or delay in a schedule source. Because the Service is currently free, to the extent any liability is found despite the above, our total liability to you is limited to USD $100. Some places don’t allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
If your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of someone else’s rights, leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs (including legal fees) we incur as a result, to the extent the law allows. For users under 18, this is another reason we ask a parent or guardian to be involved.
You can stop using Athdemix at any time, disconnect a source, or delete your account — and when you delete your account, we handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these Terms, if we’re required to by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive (like Sections 9, 10, 11, and 13) continue to apply after your account ends.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and Athdemix agree that any dispute relating to these Terms or the Service will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction — unless the law that protects you as a consumer requires otherwise.
If we make a material change, we’ll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. If you don’t agree to a change, please stop using Athdemix and, if you like, delete your account.
